In 1968 Walter’s son, Edward (Ed) Cathell, joined the agency. Ed, is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and spent five years working in the chemical processing industry before joining Cathell Associates. During the early 1970’s Walter transitioned the leadership of the company to his son.
